“ Die Lage des Lokals zwischen Geilenkirchen und Heinberg ist gut und das Restaurant ist einfach zu erreichen mit dem Auto. Am Restaurant sind ausreichende und kostenfreie Parkplätze vorhanden. Die Speisen waren lecker und frisch zubereitet. Die Getränke waren kühl und frisch. Im Sommer lädt der kleine Biergarten zum Verweilen ein. Wir waren zu einem Abend mit Weinprobe vor Ort und leider kam der Anspruch des Lokals mit der Leistung nicht mit. Zu jedem Gang sollte es eine Weinbegleitung geben, aber leider hat hier das Personal versagt....entweder war Wein da ODER das Essen......auch auf Hinweise dazu wurde kaum reagiert. Leider hat der Abend 99 Euro pro Person gekostet......mit einem leicht schalen Nachgeschmack. Bei einem "normalen " Abend funktioniert es aber besser. ”
“ Alt eingesessenes, hervorragendes Restaurante der gehobenen Klasse. Das Essen ist vorzüglich, besonders empfehlenswert ist das Rinderfilet mit Kräuterkruste - ein Gedicht! Die Preise sind der Qualität entsprechend angemessen. Die Bedienung ist hervorragend! Es sollte unbedingt reserviert werden. Wir kommen gerne wieder. ”
“ Ein köstlicher Besuch bei Janses Mattes (zwischen Geilenkirchen und Heinsberg). Der Gruss aus der Küche (Forellenmouse) machte Lust auf Mehr. Der Salat vorweg (perfekt gabelgerecht geschnitten) steigerte das noch. Und das Essen selber enttäuschte, wie erwartet, auch nicht. Mein sehr gutes Kotelett passte hervorragend zu den Graupen mit Chorizo, was dem Ganzen eine herrlich würzige Note gab. Die Bratkartoffel sind dort sowieso grandios. Das Schweinefilet hatte mit der Pfeffersauce eine doch gute Schärfe, die jedoch die anderen Aromen nicht überdeckte. Das indische Tandoori kam auch sehr gut an, mit vielfältigen Aromen auch hier. Das Schnitzel Wiener Art hat die Kinder komplett satt gemacht (bis auf das Nachtischeis natürlich ). Auch das Kalbsschnitzel war sehr gut. Das Rumsteack mit marinierter Senfkruste war auf den Punkt und erfüllte alle Erwartungen. Ergänzt von einem sehr freundlichen Service kann man sagen: Ja, da kann man immer hingehen, wenn man etwas Leckeres Essen möchte. ”

“ Another great visit to Jane's Mattes. We went as a family of 3 all adults. We had reserved a table and was quickly taken to it, menus passed to us and our drink order taken. Very quick, friendly and attentive service all through the time we were there. Drinks came pretty soon, then we ordered our food. I ordered the 3 course surprise menu and my wife and daughter ordered from the card. The card menu also has a starter, salad and dessert included. Plus we had an amuse bouce from the chef. The food was excellent. It costs more than most restaurants, but you definitely get your money's worth. ”
